5 Steps for Leveraging Social Media for Your Small Business

There are no strictly “right” or “wrong” ways to handle social media, making the whole thing very confusing for new entrepreneurs with a million other things on their minds. Emily Stewart sent us a video with some solid guidelines on leveraging your social media presence.

The tips given are the following:

1) Make a Plan

2) Plan to Brand

3) Don’t Shy From Confrontation

4) Give, Give, Give

5) Don’t Give Up (this is probably the only tip you need to remember!)

This video is part of well-presented video series by CreditScore.net on basic financial tips. I personally find their videos to be one of the better introductions to basic finance out there.

If any of you could suggest a better series of videos for our readers, we’d love to hear from you.

I enjoyed your video. I wasn’t aware that Pinterest is such an interesting site for social media marketing I plan to go check it out asap. I think you covered the basics very well. I totally agree that you have to stick it out when getting into social media marketing. It is not a quick fix, but if you work at it, the rewards are definitely worth the effort,
